So, you want to be "the one" pulling the strings for a change?
Well...you're already the one pulling the strings - you just don't know whose strings they are (your own) nor how you're doing it (by responding to karma's response to your responses to the results of your own karma) - nor do you want to know because then you'd be responsible for yourself which would make your pride, your politics and the strings you want to pull, pointless.
In truth, I can't really speak to the appeal of such things as they've always just been paperwork to me. "Paperwork", from my perspective, is simply time that could otherwise be spent observing and/or exploring karma and other more interesting things. Neither good nor bad - just...paperwork.
