With regard to "connecting" with God, it seems like I do but how can one be sure? All I really know is that I can access intelligence I don't actually have and do things I don't know how to do - and that, even though I think I'm hilarious and often crack mySELF up, I also often experience whole other and infinitely funnier levels of humor.
I've been told I don't take God seriously enough but CLEARLY, such people have never had the full experience of "The Eye Roll of God" which is quite possibly the funniest thing in the whole of creation - if one actually has the balls to drop all of the kowtowing and "fear" nonsense. Granted, man himself is the target of the eye roll and pride will prevent an individual from getting one but really - come ON! I am DEAD serious about all-things-God and the humor isn't going to change that.
What could possibly be funnier than getting kicked square in the teeth by man's ridiculous and colossal fear and hatred of providence? PROVIDENCE, for crying out loud! The very soul and essence of both God AND His creation! Immutable, 100% reliable PROVIDENCE! Always on and 100% AVAILABLE to all living creatures! Whether they like it or not and whether they understand it or not is irrelevant. Providence is. It simply IS. One doesn't even have to understand anything more than the simplicity of its is-ness.
Man's inability to see something by which he is absolutely surrounded, 24/7? Yes, it's amusing! Well...for about 5 minutes, anyway - until the refusal to hear it, the refusal to look at it, the ranting, the raving, the war cries, the drama and all the REST of man's boohooing about it starts to get on one's nerves...at which point it's just boring...PAINFULLY boring - and time for a coffee break - or SOME sort of vacation from it...
